I'm back in the old office for a day, and I was checking through my missed emails when I found this from Doyle Wilmouth at Rogue Worlds (04/03/2004):

Hello Kevin,
I recently filled all my fiction slots until April 2005 issue of "Rogue Worlds." So this is not a rejection letter for your work. I do apologize for the inconvenience but I don't like to stock pile manuscripts more than a year in advance. This keeps me from having to tell authors that their work will appear a couple of years down the road. Something I don't like.

Well, it says it's not a rejection, so I'm only going to count it as a half. Means I've got start looking at the markets again.
