All they left was a final episode

I went out for a friend's birthday last night. I was the first person to arrive at the pub -- I usually am -- but this time I was first by a clear hour. The girls' reason when they finally arrived at 10.30?

They were watching the last episode of Friends.

If I'd had to wait an hour on my own I would not have been happy, but I got to chatting up some Swindon Chav and the time passed fairly quickly.

It was a good night, but I'm beginning to think that I really need to get myself another gf. It happens too often lately that I'm the first person out, and sometimes (usually when I'm in Kings waiting for Big Ron or Student With No Razor) I can end up waiting on my own for half an hour or more. I wouldn't care what time they showed up if I came out with someone.

And I don't suppose it would hurt to get laid every once in a while :)
