Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing out here.

I have nothing to do again. I asked my boss what he wanted me to do when I finished my last job, and after thinking about it for nearly two minutes he replied, 'I don't know'. So now he's got me reading more background reports on a project that 'we might get the go ahead for if the one we're expecting to have to do falls through.'

I'd write, but it's hard to get away with when your boss is sitting two feet away. So background report it is.
