Almost Court

Wow. Sometimes I surprise even myself. Recently I resolved to do at least 1 hour of writing everyday. I'm keeping up with it, although the actual amount of words I do get down has been variable, as any additions I make to my Journal would count towards that hour. When I speak of the journal (currently called A New Breed of Idiot) I refer to the real thoughts-and-feelings journal that I maintain on my home pc--I decided on keeping that stuff seperate because a). I doubt many people would actually want to read it and b). there are certain things that I just don't want certain people to see (loves and hates typically).

Anyway, back to the matter in hand. I sat down on Friday night and managed to add 650 words to Dearest . . . in one hour. And that's after a full day of revision. This is unprecedented. Go me.

Eleven Squared

Partook in the BBC's Test the Nation thing last night. Apparently, although I neither trust the test's accuracy nor believe that IQ tests have any use whatsoever beyond looking good in front of your mates, I have an IQ of 121 (the average being about 100). Kind of disappointing because the previous test I took said that it was 158. I am hoping that instead of my intelligence having plumetted over the last few months that these tests are in fact based on different scales.

Later . . .
